APP Assessor
We are pleased to announce that we will now be supporting Primary and Secondary schools with the Assessment for Learning Strategy with the development of our new product "APP Assessor™", to be released soon.
What is APP Assessor?
APP Assessor is an exciting new web application that will revolutionise the way that schools enter, track and report on data generated from the Assessing Pupils’ Progress (APP) approach to periodic assessment of all subjects at Key Stages 1-4.
Key Features of APP Assessor

- Electronic data entry screen modelled on the DCSF standard paper-based forms.
- Easily add assessment data by simply clicking on the form.
- Easily add evidence of observed behaviours using our dynamic interface.
- Traffic light system visually highlights which objects pupils have achieved, are working towards or have not achieved.
- Centralised database provides the ability to query pupil data in complex ways to identify gaps in teaching and learning and adjust planning accordingly.
- Automatically calculates overall level judgements from best-fit judgement entries using the DCSF criteria.
- On-demand generation of summative reports (e.g. end of year/key stage), showing pupil progress.
- Quickly identify individual, cohort and whole school strengths and weaknesses.

- Easily communicate shared information about pupils (IEP, SEN, Attendance and other significant factors that may impact upon pupil progress).
- Easily track level attainment percentages of significant groups of pupils (e.g. by gender, ethnicity, looked after children etc.), feeding into Every Child Matters.
